Midas of Roseburg is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Service Writer to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a key role in creating a positive experience while helping keep our service department running smoothly. Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide exceptional customer service from arrival to vehicle pickup.


• Listen carefully to customers' concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.


• Communicate with technicians to understand recommended repairs and maintenance.


• Prepare repair estimates and explain services to customers in a clear, professional manner.


• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process, including updates on vehicle status and completion times.


• Create work orders, process invoices, and assist with payment transactions.


• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule service appointments.


• Help maintain an organized and efficient front office.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Friendly, professional, and dependable attitude.


• Basic knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance, and repairs preferred (training available for the right candidate).


• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn service management software.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment.


• Valid driver's license preferred.
