Operational Excellence Manager - Steel & Power. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Requirement:

• 7–10+ years of relevant experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Operations, Process Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Mandatory experience in steel, metals, heavy manufacturing, power generation, or a closely related industry.
• Strong hands-on exposure to integrated steel plant operations is highly preferred.

Experience across one or more of the following areas:

• Coke Ovens
• Blast Furnace
• Steel Melting Shop
• Rolling Mills
• Captive Power Plant
• Utilities
• Maintenance
• Process Engineering
• Quality

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC methodology.
• Strong knowledge of TPM, OEE, Kaizen, 5S, SPC, FMEA, 8D, RCA, and process capability analysis.
• Understanding of steel manufacturing processes and metallurgical operations.
• Understanding of power plant efficiency metrics such as PLF, heat rate, auxiliary consumption, and thermal efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Minitab or equivalent statistical analysis software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI/Tableau.
• Ability to quantify project benefits and translate operational improvements into financial savings.
