Your new companyI am currently working with a leading organisation in the transportation sector who are rapidly developing, and they are looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team in delivering accurate reporting and strategic insights. This is a fantastic opportunity for CIMA qualified accountants looking to utilise their training in a fast-paced industry.Your new roleReporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:Preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentaryAssisting with budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planningPerforming balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial dataSupporting month-end and year-end close activities, including journals and accrualsProviding financial analysis and insights to operational teams to drive performanceAssisting with consolidations and reporting in line with group standardsIdentifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency within finance operationsWhat you'll need to succeedYou will have recently completed a CIMA graduate scheme in a Transportation or Logistics industry or have strong-post qualification experience in Management Accounting. Ideally, you will have experience with reporting standards and systems such as Xero or QuickBooks.What you'll get in returnA competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 plus a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
