OverviewOur client is seeking a Systems Analyst to support a Department of Justice's program in Washington, DC. This team manages and supports technology systems used to track and report on seized assets.This is a newly created position supporting application modernization efforts. The analyst will work closely with government stakeholders to assess existing applications, gather requirements, and help drive future-state technology solutions.
Work EnvironmentInitially onsite 5 days per week in Washington, DC. Will move to hybrid.Opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule based on government client approval and performanceCompany-issued laptop providedSecurity Clearance RequirementsU.S. Citizenship requiredMust successfully obtain a DOJ Minimal Background Investigation (MBI)Fingerprinting required prior to startClearance process may take 2-4 months or longerActive or prior DoD clearance is a plusResponsibilitiesGather, document, and analyze technical and business requirementsSupport planning and modernization of existing applicationsPerform system analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolutionCollaborate with developers, testers, engineers, operations teams, and government stakeholdersCreate requirements documentation, specifications, and technical reportsConduct system impact assessments and risk analysisSupport software testing and defect tracking activitiesAssist with solution design, implementation, and system enhancementsPerform database queries to investigate issues and support analysisDeliver presentations, demonstrations, and training to stakeholdersRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree5+ years of Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or related IT experienceStrong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) xzbcwsv Experience gathering and documenting technical requirementsAbility to analyze business needs and recommend technical solutionsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience working across technical and non-technical teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsCertified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certificationExperience with software testing and implementationSQL experience, including backend database testing and analysisExperience with data visualization/reporting tools (Data Studio preferred)Strong Microsoft Office skills
