Labor Associate (Chicago) | Management-Side LaborOur client, a highly regarded national law firm, is seeking a Labor Associate with 4-6 years of management-side labor law experience to join its Chicago office.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build a sophisticated traditional labor practice while working with national employers on complex labor relations matters.

ResponsibilitiesRepresent employers in grievance arbitration hearingsHandle matters before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB)Advise clients on union organizing campaigns and labor relations issuesSupport and participate in collective bargaining negotiationsCounsel employers on compliance with the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA)Conduct management training on labor law and workplace relations issues
Qualifications4-6 years of management-side labor experienceExperience handling grievance arbitrations, ideally in a lead or first-chair capacityExperience with NLRB proceedings and labor relations counselingAbility to independently manage matters and maintain client relationshipsStrong legal writing, analytical, and communication skillsCollective bargaining experience strongly preferredSpanish language skills are a plus

Compensation & BenefitsBase salary: $310,000-$390,000Bonus eligibilityComprehensive benefits package1,950-hour billable expectation, inclusive of approved pro bono time
