- Travel assignment in a hospital setting
- Provide professional nursing care for perioperative short-stay patients across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
- Administer medications and monitor patient status according to physician orders
- Function as a scrub technician when needed and assist surgical teams as required
- Coordinate and delegate patient care while ensuring patient safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with the health care team to promote effective communication and patient flow
- Active RN license in California (or eligibility per state requirements)
- Experience or demonstrated capability in perioperative services or surgical short-stay care
- Ability to function as a scrub technician when needed
- Availability to work a rotating 5x8 shift pattern
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to support a fast-paced perioperative environment
