Risk & Insurance CoordinatorLHH is seeking a Risk & Insurance Coordinator for a full-time temporary opportunity with an established organization in San Diego. This role is ideal for someone with commercial insurance claims experience who can also support insurance procurement and risk-related activities. Claims will be the primary focus, with additional responsibilities involving insurance proposals, coverage information, Certificates of Insurance, and vendor insurance requirements.This position is expected to begin as a temporary assignment, initially anticipated for approximately two months, with the potential to extend through the end of the year and possibly develop into a permanent opportunity.Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hourEmployment Type: Temporary with potential for permanent employmentSchedule: Full-time, standard business hoursLocation: San Diego, CA (Mission Valley, In office)

ResponsibilitiesField insurance claims from tenants and coordinate appropriate follow-upSubmit commercial insurance claims to insurance providers and maintain supporting documentationSupport property and general liability claimsTrack claims and maintain organized communication throughout the processReview insurance proposals, quotes, coverage information, and Certificates of InsuranceReview vendor contracts for insurance requirementsSupport insurance procurement needs related to property acquisitions, development, improvements, and changes that may require adjustments to coverageWork with internal stakeholders and insurance partners to keep claims and insurance matters moving forward
QualificationsExperience with commercial insurance claimsKnowledge of property and general liability claimsExperience working with insurance carriers, brokers, or similar insurance partnersStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation and follow-upExposure to insurance procurement, insurance proposals, coverage review, Certificates of Insurance, or vendor insurance requirements preferredExperience within insurance, commercial real estate, property management, or a related environment is helpfulFamiliarity with D&O and Employment Practices Liability insurance is a plus
