Location: Hudson Valley, NY Compensation: $101,400/year + Benefits Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9 AM–5 PM
We’re seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to support residential programs and a Day Program serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including medically frail individuals.
What You’ll Do:Assist the Director of Nursing with supervision of RN Case Managers and clinical/program staffProvide clinical oversight across residential programs and the Day ProgramReview nursing documentation, including PONS, nursing assignments, and clinical notesCoordinate primary and specialty medical care and ensure appropriate follow-upCollaborate with RN Case Managers, residential management, day programs, hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providersConduct nursing staff orientation, training, and performance evaluationsDevelop and deliver training related to AMAP, infection control, emergency preparedness, and nursing proceduresSupport care coordination for individuals with complex and medically fragile needsHelp ensure continuity and quality of nursing services across programsParticipate in the rotating 24-hour nursing supervisory on-call scheduleAssist with nursing policies, procedures, committees, and agency-wide clinical initiatives
Qualifications:Active NYS RN license requiredBSN required5+ years of nursing experience requiredSupervisory and/or IDD experience strongly preferredStrong clinical assessment, communication, organization, and leadership skillsExperience with staff supervision, training, and clinical oversightComfortable coordinating care across multiple community-based settingsAbility to work a flexible schedule and participate in the on-call rotationStrong documentation and computer/EMR skills
