Job description Job Title: Senior Digital Content Creator & Storyteller-Building materials co Department: Branding & Marketing Industry: Building Materials Location: Chennai Experience: 4-6 Years as a digital content creation & story teller CTC: Maximum gross upto 8 LPA Job Description We are looking for a creative, agile and execution-focused Senior Digital Content Creator & Storyteller to strengthen our digital and social media presence. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in content creation, storytelling, social media, video production/editing, motion graphics and AI-enabled content creation . The candidate should be capable of taking an idea from concept to final execution and proactively identifying content opportunities. Key Responsibilities Create and manage content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and other digital platforms. Develop platform-specific content, reels, short-form videos, interviews, testimonials and event content. Research and create stories around products, customers, dealers, projects, employees and industry trends. Write scripts, captions, headlines, articles and other digital content. Independently edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects . Create motion graphics, subtitles, transitions and other visual elements. Develop thought-leadership content around construction, building materials, innovation and industry trends. Use AI tools for research, ideation, scripting, copywriting, image/video creation, editing and content repurposing. Create social-media creatives using Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva . Monitor social trends, competitor activity and content performance to improve engagement. Coordinate with marketing teams, agencies and external stakeholders. Visit dealer locations, project sites and events for content creation when required. Required Skills Strong storytelling, copywriting and scripting skills. Excellent understanding of social-media content and formats. Hands-on expertise in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva . Strong Reel/short-form video editing and motion graphics skills. Practical experience using Generative AI tools for content creation. Ability to simplify technical information into engaging content. Strong visual sense, creativity and attention to detail. Candidate Profile 46 years of relevant experience in digital content, social media, branded content or creative production. Experience in Building Materials, FMCG, Retail, Automobile or other consumer-facing brands preferred. Brand-side or strong agency experience preferred. Strong portfolio of personally executed videos, Reels, social creatives and storytelling content . Proactive, fast-moving and comfortable working independently. Willingness to travel locally for shoots and content creation.
