Location: Mantri Square Mall, Malleshwaram, Bangalore

Salary: 12-18L p.a. CTC


Role Overview

The Medical Operations & Business Manager will lead the end to end management of a modern multi specialty healthcare center comprising Radiology, OT, OPD, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, and Café. This role requires a medical professional with strong business acumen to ensure operational excellence, compliance, patient safety, and sustainable revenue growth through marketing and sales initiatives across all units.


Qualifications

  • MBBS + MD (Hospital Administration) / MHA / MBBS + MBA (Mandatory).
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in hospital or healthcare center operations.
  • Proven expertise in managing multi department healthcare facilities (OPD, diagnostics, pharmacy, OT).
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance, medico legal work, vendor management, and accreditation standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup style environment with multi tasking and innovation.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

  • Oversee daily operations across Radiology, OT, OPD, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, and Café.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with NABH standards, patient safety protocols, and statutory healthcare regulations.
  • Drive efficiency in workflows, resource utilization, and patient service delivery.

Revenue Generation, Marketing & Sales

  • Drive revenue growth in Radiology, OT, OPD, Café, and Pharmacy through targeted marketing campaigns, patient engagement programs, and service expansion.
  • Define and achieve sales targets for each department, ensuring profitability and growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotional strategies, referral programs, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Monitor departmental revenue streams, track performance against targets, and implement corrective measures.
  • Align clinical excellence with financial sustainability by balancing patient care quality and business outcomes.

Human Resource Management

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, and support teams.
  • Implement performance management systems and professional development programs.
  • Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and patient centric service.

Clinical, Vendor & Landlord Coordination

  • Collaborate with medical teams to ensure high quality patient care.
  • Manage vendor relationships for diagnostics, consumables, pharmacy, and facility services.
  • Handle landlord coordination and property related matters for the center.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain strong vendor/partner relationships.

Infrastructure Oversight

  • Supervise renovation, facility upgrades, and infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Align infrastructure initiatives with operational and patient care requirements.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Monitor budgets, revenue streams, and cost control measures.
  • Oversee billing, inventory management, and resource utilization.
  • Prepare operational dashboards and reports for senior management.

Medico Legal & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to medico legal standards, documentation, and reporting.
  • Handle patient grievances, negligence monitoring, and medico legal cases with transparency.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, licensing, and accreditation.

Growth & Innovation Initiatives

  • Implement technology solutions for patient engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Drive innovation to improve patient service and company growth.
  • Lead expansion projects and partnerships to strengthen Mardamed's healthcare footprint.
