Designation: VP- Operations Years: 10-18 years Location: Hyderabad Qualification: CA/ CPA Mandatory Role Overview The Vice President – Operations will be responsible for the overall operational performance of our client's Accounting, Tax, Payroll, Compliance and CFO Services functions. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for building scalable operating systems, strengthening service delivery, improving productivity and quality, developing operational talent, and driving technology-enabled transformation across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong operational leadership with a deep understanding of finance and accounting services, preferably within a U.S. accounting, tax, payroll, compliance, outsourcing, BPO, CAS or professional services environment. The VP – Operations will work closely with the Founder/CEO, functional leaders, Product and Technology teams, and Client Success/Sales teams to translate business objectives into effective operational execution. Key Responsibilities Operations Strategy: Develop and execute scalable operations strategies across Accounting, Tax, Payroll, Compliance and CFO Services. Service Delivery: Oversee end-to-end service delivery, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, timeliness and client satisfaction.  Process & Automation: Standardize processes, improve operational efficiency and drive automation in partnership with Product and Technology teams.  People Leadership: Build, lead and develop high-performing operations teams, managers and functional leaders.  Performance Management: Establish operational KPIs and dashboards to monitor productivity, quality, SLAs, capacity and profitability.  Capacity & Scalability: Lead workforce planning and operational readiness to support business growth and seasonal demand. & Risk: Strengthen quality-control frameworks, operational controls and compliance processes.  Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO, Sales, Client Success, Finance, HR, Product and Technology teams to achieve business objectives.  Continuous Improvement: Identify operational gaps and implement initiatives that improve efficiency, client experience and overall business performance. Required Qualifications & Experience  Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.  CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.  10 years of progressive experience, with significant experience in operations leadership.  Proven experience leading large, multi-functional teams in accounting, tax, payroll, compliance, finance outsourcing, BPO, CAS or professional services(Big 4 candidates preferred)  Strong understanding of U.S. accounting, taxation, payroll and compliance operations.  Experience managing U.S.-based clients or U.S.-focused service delivery teams.  Demonstrated experience in scaling operations within a high-growth organization.  Strong understanding of operational metrics, workforce planning, quality management and process improvement.  Experience working with technology/product teams to automate operational workflows.  Strong commercial understanding, including cost management, productivity and service-line profitability. Preferred Experience  Experience in a U.S. accounting firm, CAS practice, tax outsourcing organization, finance BPO or technology-enabled accounting services company.  Experience managing multiple service lines simultaneously.  Experience implementing ERP, accounting, workflow or compliance technology.  Experience building operations from an early-stage or rapidly scaling environment.  Familiarity with platforms such as QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP, Avalara or similar accounting, payroll and compliance technologies is an advantage.
