Senior executive-investment operations & compliance (insurance)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented Investment Operations & Compliance Professional with 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry. The role involves managing investment operations, investment compliance monitoring, reconciliations, investment accounting support, and regulatory reporting activities.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of IRDAI Investment Regulations, investment compliance frameworks, and hands-on experience with investment back-office platforms such as Credence, M-Power, and M-Fund.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Operations

Process investment transactions across debt, equity, mutual funds, government securities, and money market instruments. Capture investment deals accurately in investment management systems. Perform trade validation, settlement monitoring, and corporate action processing. Maintain investment records and supporting documentation.

Investment Compliance & Regulatory Reporting

Monitor compliance with IRDAI Investment Regulations, Guidelines, and Master Circulars. Track exposure limits, prudential norms, sectoral limits, and asset allocation requirements. Prepare investment compliance reports for management and regulatory purposes. Coordinate with auditors, compliance teams, custodians, and fund managers.

Reconciliation & Reporting

Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of investment portfolios. Prepare portfolio reports, investment schedules, MIS reports, and management dashboards. Support preparation of regulatory returns and investment disclosures.

Investment Accounting Support

Monitor interest accruals, dividend income, amortization, and valuation data. Assist in investment-related accounting and financial reporting activities. Coordinate with Finance and Actuarial teams for investment data requirements.

System Management

Operate and maintain investment back-office systems including:

Credence M-Power M-Fund Other investment management platforms (preferred)

Preferred Candidate Profile

Minimum 3 years of experience in Investment Operations / Back Office within an Insurance Company Experience in investment regulatory reporting and compliance monitoring Exposure to working with custodians, auditors, investment teams, finance departments, and actuarial teams Strong understanding of insurance investment processes and controls
