This role involves implementing treatment plans focused on improving patient mobility, strength, and functional independence within a healthcare facility in Miami Lakes, Florida.

Job Details:

Schedule: Day shift with 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Valid state PTA license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; two years of bedside experience; location in Miami Lakes, FL; no minimum experience required beyond the specified two years of bedside experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a skilled nursing facility setting is advantageous.

Additional Information: The PTA will assist in implementing therapy interventions such as posture training, strengthening exercises, balance activities, and gait training using assistive devices. Responsibilities include instructing patients and families, documenting progress, maintaining safety standards, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The role requires adherence to safety, infection control, and facility policies, with participation in continuing education and team conferences to enhance patient care quality.
