Architectural Intern

We are looking for Architectural Interns / Junior Designers with 0–1 year of experience who are curious, observant, and eager to learn through the process of design.

At Studio Kalakriya, we are interested in how ideas are imagined, represented, discussed, detailed, and eventually built. We are looking for someone who enjoys this entire process and brings both creativity and rigour to their work.

You should bring

• A strong interest in architecture, interiors, furniture, materials, and visual culture

• Curiosity and an ability to think conceptually

• A good sense of composition, proportion, and aesthetics

• The ability to express ideas through drawings, diagrams, models, and presentations

• Strong graphic and visual communication skills

• Clear verbal and written communication

• Confidence in explaining and presenting your design thinking

• An openness to feedback and a willingness to learn

• Initiative, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude

Software proficiency

AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.

Knowledge of Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, or other visualisation tools is an added advantage.
