Tax Manager / Tax Supervisor / Tax Senior (Hybrid/Multiple Locations)

Location : Multiple Offices (Downtown Chicago + Suburban Offices)

Compensation :

Tax Seniors: $ 80K- $110K base DOE+ bonus + paid OT over 40 hours at 1.5x pay

Tax Supervisor : $110K-$130K base, DOE+ bonus + paid OT over 40 hours at 1.5x pay

Tax Manager : $130K-$170K base, DOE + bonus + Partner Track

About the Opportunity

We are working with regional and national public accounting firm seeking a Tax Manager/Tax Supervisor/Tax Senior to join their team!

This role is focused primarily on business taxation, including the preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and S-Corporation returns. The firm offers strong mentorship, exposure to complex client engagements, paid overtime, competitive compensation, and a clear path for growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review business tax returns, including C-Corporations, S-Corporations, and Partnerships
• Review work prepared by junior staff and provide coaching and technical guidance
• Research federal and state tax issues and assist with tax planning projects
• Manage multiple engagements and ensure deadlines are met
• Serve as a point of contact for clients and maintain strong client relationships
• Participate in tax planning, compliance, and consulting engagements
• Assist with staff development and workflow management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA preferred or in progress
• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Experience preparing and reviewing business tax returns
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication and client service skills
