This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses.There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses and mentoring incentives.Position is full-time with benefits!ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment - overhead cranes, roll formers, press brakes and resistance welders. Assist with the servicing and repairing of more complex equipment. Comply with applicable regulations and the department's Safety program Perform general building repairs and maintenance Perform general trailer and vehicle maintenance on yard equipment- forklifts, yard trucks, and shop vehicles. Adhere to safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school preferred. At least 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. At least 1 year of experience in welding and fabricating preferred. Knowledge of overhead cranes, bearings, hydraulics, and drives Must have low voltage electrical knowledge. Experience in operating, troubleshooting and repairing various types of production machinery in a manufacturing environment. Basic PLC knowledge/experience. Basic automotive/trailer maintenance knowledge. Must have basic knowledge of lockout tag out and proper PPE. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent communication with others to exchange information. Standing for most of the shift, walking, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions. Constantly thinking and processing information. Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing floor with machinery. Exposure to airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold. Use of personal protection equipment is required.
