Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Work closely with the CFO and finance team to turn financial and operational data into decisions that support a growing business. This role offers ownership of key planning activities and the opportunity to strengthen financial models, improve forecasting, and partner with department leaders across the organization.

ResponsibilitiesOwn portions of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plan; support monthly reforecasting.Prepare monthly variance analysis comparing actual results with budget, forecast, and prior year, explaining key business drivers.Maintain and improve the three-statement financial model.Maintain operational models to assess the financial impact of cost changes, supplier decisions, inventory, and process improvements.Partner with department heads to align financial plans with business priorities.Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate reporting and alignment between actual results and forecasts.Improve FP&A processes, data integrity, and system utilization.Support board materials, leadership presentations, strategic planning, and ad hoc analysis.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.Ideally six or more years of relevant professional experience, including hands-on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Ability to maintain and improve an integrated income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow model.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain financial results clearly to business partners.Manufacturing experience, SAP experience, and a CPA are pluses.
