Full Scope Certified Nurse Midwife

Denali OB-GYN Clinic has been providing kind & compassionate care to Alaskans for 20 years. We are looking for a passionate, dynamic Certified Nurse Midwife to join our practice of 7 OB-GYN physicians and 2 Certified Nurse Midwives. Hospital based care is delivered through two private hospitals with the latest advances in technology and newly renovated Labor and Delivery beds. Certified Nurse Midwives work as a team and with collaborating physicians to provide personalized inpatient and outpatient care for their patients.
Duties include:

• Office based care provided four to five days per week (weekdays only) tailored to your scope of practice - women's health, prenatal, preventative care, and primary care.

• Hospital-based care includes labor management, vaginal deliveries and 1st assist for Cesarean deliveries.

• 1-2 24 hour call shifts per week

• Practice medicine within scope of licensure and training.

• Maintain patient charts by accurately documenting services provided in a timely manner.

• Code diagnosis and visits/services appropriately.

• Educate patients and family.

• Commitment to teamwork, building and maintaining professional skills and relationships in the community.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Alaska licensure

• CPR Certification (BLS Healthcare provider level) preferred

• 3-5 years of experience in women's health preferred

• Unrestricted and current DEA license

Benefits:

• Sign on bonus

• $123,000 annual base salary plus quarterly productivity bonus (after 90 days of employment)

• Eligible for productivity bonus after 1 year- potential for $50,000+ in annual bonuses
