Business Development Manager – Merchant Services (Field Sales) Salary: £ 30,000 to £40,000 basic, negotiable on experience, with OTE of £80,000 to £90,000 Location: Field-based, covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Warwickshire, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough (no home or hybrid working) Working pattern: Full time, permanent Role overview We are looking for a Business Development Manager to win new merchant accounts for our payment processing solutions.

You will find your own leads through cold calling, networking and prospecting, then meet businesses face to face to understand what they need and sign them up.
What you'll be doing • Generating and qualifying new leads through cold calling and outbound prospecting • Building and managing your own pipeline of merchant opportunities • Presenting and selling merchant services and payment solutions to businesses • Carrying out needs assessments and recommending the right products • Negotiating terms and closing new business agreements • Keeping accurate records of activity and opportunities in the CRM • Meeting or exceeding monthly sales and performance targets What you'll bring • Proven experience in merchant services, payment solutions or B2B sales • At least 1 year of face to face sales acquisition experience • Strong cold calling, prospecting and closing skills • A track record of hitting targets • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • Confidence using CRM systems and sales tools What's on offer • Basic salary of £30,000 to £40,000, depending on experience • OTE of £80,000 to £90,000 • A permanent, full-time field sales role covering your local patch Additional information This is a field-based role, so home or hybrid working is not available. xrexnqw
