This Level 4 facility provides general surgery services within an operating room setting and utilizes EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care coordination. The facility maintains established clinical protocols to support call-based surgical coverage on an on-site basis. The clinician will provide general surgery coverage on 24-hour call shifts, approximately 1 week per month, in an operating room setting at a Level 4 facility in Utah. Primary responsibilities include performing general surgery procedures and managing a patient volume of 3-4 patients per shift. Call coverage is required, and board certification in General Surgery is mandatory for this locum tenens assignment. All clinical documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system.
