Clinical Social Worker, Endocrine 20 hours

Position Summary Part-time social work position (20 hrs.) needed to provide a range of clinical social work services in the BCH Thyroid Center. The BCH Thyroid Center is one of the first and largest centers in the United States exclusively devoted to the care and treatment of children with thyroid conditions. The Thyroid Center provides a supportive team environment with opportunities for professional growth and development. Key Responsibilities Multidisciplinary care to children and adolescents with thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer, including initial evaluation, diagnostic imaging and procedures, surgical treatment, subsequent thyroid cancer care and follow-up, and psychosocial support throughout this process. Psychosocial assessments, individual and family coping support, crisis interv
