Role Description The Senior Business Development Manager (Full Truck Load (FTL) Experienced) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for driving business growth in the logistics and transportation sector, with a strong focus on FTL services. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, negotiating contracts and pricing, and creating strategic plans to expand market share. The position involves close collaboration with operations and customer service teams to ensure service quality, timely deliveries, and customer satisfaction. The Senior Business Development Manager will also track market trends, prepare sales forecasts and reports, and represent the company at industry events and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the logistics or transportation sector, specifically in Full Truck Load (FTL).
• Proven ability to identify new markets, generate leads, and convert opportunities into long-term client relationships.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage with decision-makers and stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Solid understanding of pricing, contracts, and commercial terms related to logistics and FTL operations.
• Analytical and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to prepare forecasts, sales plans, and performance reports.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Prior experience in the Bengaluru market or familiarity with regional logistics networks is beneficial.
