Electrician or Senior Electrical Assistant

The University of Virginia's Health System Physical Plant is seeking an Electrician or Senior Electrical Assistant to join their team. The incumbent is responsible for responding to renovation projects and support to maintenance work orders within the Health System Complex. This position will be filled at either level based on the selected finalists credentials and experience. Electricians provide labor and technical knowledge for installation and maintenance of building components and mechanical systems while providing a safe environment. Electricians perform work of moderate difficulty which involves repairing, installing, connecting, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in buildings.
