OverviewWe’re looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Mechanic with 10+ years of commercial electrical experience who can lead by example while remaining hands-on in the field. This is a working lead position, not a supervisory-only role. We need someone who knows their trade, can take ownership of their work, guide other electricians when needed, and keep projects moving without constant direction.
DutiesPerform hands-on electrical installations on commercial job sitesRun conduit (EMT, rigid), pull wire, and complete terminationsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawingsHandle electrical layout and installation from start to finishInstall panels, switchgear, devices, fixtures, and other electrical equipmentTroubleshoot electrical systems and resolve field issuesProvide direction and guidance to other electricians while working alongside themCoordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to keep work progressingMaintain quality workmanship, productivity, and job site safety
Qualifications10+ years of commercial electrical experienceStrong conduit bending, installation, and electrical layout skillsAbility to read blueprints and execute work independentlyExperience with panels, switchgear, terminations, and troubleshootingPrevious xzbcwsv experience as a Lead Mechanic or senior-level electrician preferredAbility to direct a small crew while remaining actively involved in installationsStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
