This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an accounting professional who can oversee the day-to-day accounting function. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting skills with the ability to improve processes, develop a team, and partner closely with operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the company's day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functionsOversee month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reportsManage general ledger, account reconciliations, and journal entriesOversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisMonitor cash flow and support working-capital managementMaintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and proceduresCoordinate annual audits and work with external accounting and tax partnersEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirementsIdentify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve reportingPartner with executive leadership on financial analysis and business decisionsLead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldManufacturing industry experience2+ years of management experienceProgressive accounting experience with prior leadership or Controller-level responsibilityStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingExperience managing month-end close and preparing financial statementsExcellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with operational and executive leadership
Prior experience within a manufacturing or similarly complex operating environment is a plus.
