Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Support plant production needs for daily operation, changeovers, and outbound shipments. Primarily responsible for assisting in packaging of product of internal and external use, and assisting in changeover with other production teammates. The pay rate for this role is $22.65 per hour. Responsibilities:

• Operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely
• Safely operate the machine to properly produce product and follow proper

• Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow
• Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments

• Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout production
• Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift
• Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices
• Follow proper sorting and restacking instructions given by the quality

• Assist in changeovers when called up by supervisor or front-end operators
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
• Troubleshoot problems and report issues
• Must work well in a team environment

• Line production is constant flow approximately 35 to 39 drums an hour.
• Ability to be on feet consistently 8 hours up to a 12 hours per scheduled

• Repetitive turning & twisting during the leak testing steps of production.
• Reaching above shoulders, hand and wrist repetitive simple grasping to pick

• Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb, minimal, only as needed.
• Ability to lift as needed up to 35lbs during scheduled shift
• Ability to lift consistently up to 20lbs for full shift to move drum through
