Lead Draftsman (Interiors)

As a Lead Draftsman (Interiors) , you will be responsible for conducting residential site visits, capturing accurate measurements and technical details, and preparing precise 2D drawings for design and execution purposes.

Responsibilities

• Visit residential project sites and take accurate measurements of the complete space.
• Record wall dimensions, electrical points, plumbing points, and other relevant site details.
• Measure and document structural elements, including columns, beams, doors, and windows.
• Prepare detailed and accurate 2D drawings in AutoCAD based on site measurements.
• Create wall elevation drawings with precise dimensions and specifications.
• Ensure all drawings are prepared as per approved templates, standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the Design and Project teams to clarify site-related requirements and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify and report any measurement variations or site constraints that may impact the design or execution.
• Maintain accuracy, completeness, and consistency in all drawings and documentation.
• Deliver drawings and related outputs within defined timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field .
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in drafting, AutoCAD, site measurement, or a similar role.
• Experience in residential interior or modular furniture projects will be an added advantage.

Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and 2D drafting .
• Excellent ability to take precise and accurate site measurements.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, dimensions, and elevations.
• High attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Good problem-solving and observation skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with Design and Project teams.
• Good time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹30,000 per month
