Job description: Job description: Job Title: Accountant Location: Zirakpur Department: Finance & Accounts Experience: 4–7 Years Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping. Record and reconcile all bank transactions. Prepare and process vendor payments and employee reimbursements. Generate sales and purchase invoices. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare GST returns, TDS deductions, and other statutory compliances. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing. Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and banks when required. Prepare MIS reports and financial statements for management. Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records. Handle payroll support and salary processing, if required. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software. Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance . Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent. M.Com or relevant accounting certification will be an added advantage. Preferred Candidate 4–7 years of experience in accounting and finance. Experience in real estate, construction, or event management industry is preferred. Immediate joiner will be preferred. Work Location: In person
