Job Title- SAP FICO L3 Support & Project Consultant Years of experience required- 4years Budget- upto 12LPA Location- Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (On-Site) Position Overview We are a leading tile manufacturing company seeking an experienced SAP FICO L3 Consultant to join our IT team. Because our business includes a highly customized trading process—blending manufactured goods with deeply integrated third-party procurement and complex order-to-cash cycles—this role requires someone who goes beyond standard FICO boundaries. You will balance day-to-day Business-As-Usual (BAU) support with hands-on involvement in continuous improvement projects. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in FICO and a sharp understanding of the FICO-SD (Sales & Distribution) and FICO-MM (Materials Management) integration touchpoints. Key Responsibilities 1. BAU Support & Operations (L3) * Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve L3 tickets across FI (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting) and CO (Product Costing, Profitability Analysis) modules within defined SLAs. * Highly Customized Support: Maintain and debug our unique trading process, which includes custom pricing procedures, revenue recognition logic, and intercompany tracking. * Period-End Closing: Provide critical support during month-end and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring smooth execution of assessment cycles, variance calculations, and settlement runs. 2. Project Delivery & Enhancements * Requirement Gathering: Partner with business stakeholders (Finance, Sales, and Procurement teams) to translate complex business requirements into robust functional designs. * System Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration changes in SAP FICO to support new business initiatives, continuous improvements, and rolling roll-outs. * Testing & Deployment: Lead Unit Testing (UT), Integration Testing (IT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Prepare comprehensive functional specifications (FSDs) for custom ABAP developments (RICEFW objects). 3. FICO-SD Integration Mastery * Trading Process Optimization: Monitor and refine the flow of financial data coming from heavily customized SD processes (e.g., third-party sales, individual purchase orders, specialized tax structures, and rebate agreements). * Account Determination: Own and maintain the integrity of revenue account determination (VKOA) and material ledger configurations affected by specialized sales flows. Technical Skills & Qualifications * Experience: 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant, with a strong background in manufacturing or distribution environments (Building Materials, Ceramics, or FMCG preferred). * Core FI/CO Competencies: Strong knowledge of FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), and Profit Center Accounting (PCA). * Advanced CO Skills: Experience with Product Costing (CO-PC) and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) is highly desirable due to our manufacturing footprint. * Integration Prowess: Deep knowledge of FI-SD integration (specifically regarding custom pricing, condition types, and billing) and FI-MM integration (PO tracking, inventory valuation). * Debugging Skills: Ability to read basic ABAP code and perform troubleshooting/debugging to identify issues within highly customized Z-transactions and user exits is a massive plus. * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CA, ICWA, MBA Finance, or SAP Certification) are highly valued. Soft Skills * Adaptability: Comfortable shifting gears quickly between a high-priority BAU ticket and a strategic system enhancement. * Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset capable of untangling complex, highly customized business logic built over years of operations. * Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical developers (ABAPers) and business finance users.
