Job Purpose

As a Senior Airport Services Agent, you will be responsible for delivering a consistently high standard of passenger service across check-in, boarding, special services, baggage services, ticketing and the Emirates Lounge. You will ensure that all operational activities are completed accurately and within the required timeframes, while adhering to Emirates' safety, security, service and operational standards. The role also involves supporting the operational team, coordinating with ground handling agents and service providers, and providing administrative and supervisory support when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient and professional passenger service across check-in, transfer desks, special services and boarding gates, ensuring that passenger requirements are met in line with established service standards.
• Support boarding activities, including boarding priorities, announcements, baggage checks, staff briefings and post-flight reconciliation, helping ensure the safe and on-time departure of Emirates flights.
• Guide and support team members, monitor passenger queues - particularly for premium customers - and assist with excess baggage, visa queries, delays, disruptions and denied boarding situations.
• Coordinate and monitor Emirates Chauffeur-drive services, oversee baggage arrival processes and assist passengers with missing or damaged baggage, ensuring appropriate follow-up and communication.
• During operational disruptions, support the implementation of the Options Scheme and take appropriate action to retain customer confidence and loyalty.
• Carry out credit card verification and travel document checks, complete pre- and post-flight documentation, flight files and statistical records, and ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the Airport Services Manager, Airport Services Officer and Airport Services Supervisor, including assisting with roster preparation, monitoring attendance discrepancies, coordinating ad hoc projects, responding to passenger queries and complaints, processing invoices, maintaining operational records and stationery, and coordinating with service providers to ensure facilities and equipment remain at the required Emirates standard.
• Support baggage-related follow-up, reservations and ticketing activities when required, provide frontline assistance during resource shortages, and contribute to the induction and onboarding of new team members.

Qualification

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of O' Level or equivalent, along with recognised professional training in Passenger Services and Handling, Ground Operations, Reservations, Fares and Ticketing. A minimum of three years' airline industry experience is required, particularly for candidates working in an outstation environment. You should have a good understanding of Departure Control Systems (DCS), Computerised Reservation Systems (CRS), check-in and passenger handling procedures, together with strong customer service and communication skills. Fluency in spoken and written English and the local language is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
