Role Description The Accountant at Essence Innovation will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining general ledgers, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing regular financial reports. This role will support budgeting and forecasting activities, monitor expenses, and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to support audits, maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards, and assist in optimizing financial processes and controls. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district.

- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, along with solid data entry and documentation skills.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or CMA are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a corporate or startup environment, particularly in technology or healthcare, is beneficial.
