Job Summary
The Company Secretary – AIF Compliance will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance of Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) in accordance with SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds) Regulations, Companies Act, and other applicable laws. The role involves managing fund-related compliances, investor documentation, corporate governance, regulatory filings, and coordination with trustees, custodians, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds) Regulations, 2012 and subsequent amendments.
- Prepare and file periodic reports, disclosures, and regulatory submissions with SEBI.
- Monitor regulatory updates and implement necessary compliance changes.
- Coordinate with investors regarding compliance documentation.
- Liaise with Trustees, Custodians, Fund Administrators, Auditors, and Legal Counsel.
- Ensure timely submission of investor reports and disclosures.
- Prepare compliance reports for senior management and Board.
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and SEBI audits.
- Ensure timely responses to regulatory queries and inspections.
