Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Fortinet Security Solutions to join our growing Cyber Security team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting enterprise-grade network security infrastructure with a primary focus on Forti Gate Firewalls, SD-WAN, VPN Technologies, and Security Operations. The role requires excellent troubleshooting capabilities, hands-on experience with Fortinet Security Fabric components, and the ability to support large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities Fortinet Security Administration

Deploy, configure, and manage Forti Gate Firewalls across enterprise environments. Administer and maintain Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer platforms. Configure and manage Security Policies, NAT, IPS, Application Control, Web Filtering, and Threat Protection services. Perform firewall upgrades, migrations, firmware updates, and vulnerability remediation activities. Configure and support High Availability (HA) and clustering solutions. Troubleshoot complex network and security issues and perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

SD-WAN & VPN Management

Design, implement, and manage Fortinet SD-WAN solutions. Configure and troubleshoot IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, and ADVPN deployments. Optimize WAN connectivity, application performance, and traffic steering policies. Implement secure remote access solutions and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) frameworks.

Network Security Operations

Monitor security events, alerts, and network performance metrics. Perform incident response, threat investigation, and security troubleshooting activities. Ensure compliance with security best practices, policies, and organizational standards. Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to maintain a secure and resilient environment.

Routing & Switching

Configure and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF. Support enterprise LAN/WAN environments and network segmentation initiatives. Maintain and update technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, SOPs, and operational procedures.

Documentation & Governance

Prepare implementation plans, technical documentation, and operational runbooks. Maintain asset inventory, configuration records, and change management documentation. Support internal and external audits and compliance initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

6–10 years of experience in Network Security Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with Forti Gate Firewalls. Expertise in Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer administration. Hands-on experience with Fortinet SD-WAN deployments and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of VPN technologies including IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, and ADVPN. Experience with High Availability (HA) and clustering solutions. Knowledge of routing protocols including BGP and OSPF. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Technical Skills

Experience with Forti Authenticator, Forti Switch, and Fortinet Security Fabric solutions. Exposure to Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA/FTD, or other enterprise security platforms. Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud security technologies. Familiarity with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), SASE, and cloud security architectures. Experience supporting enterprise-scale security environments.
