We are seeking a creative and skilled video editor to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to create compelling and high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and engages our audience. The ideal candidate should be proficient in video editing software, possess a strong creative vision and be able to collaborate effectively with the team to deliver top-notch video content. Working on a variety of products, including websites, corporate identity, social media posts, banners, emailers etc.

• Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and execute the editing process accordingly.
2. Ideate and design concept layouts of online motion design, video, and animation content
3. Work with the team to validate the concept and visual approach for a scalable asset production process
4. Perform regular 2D/3D video editing.
5. Inserting closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video.
6. Manage and organize video files, ensuring proper storage and backup of raw footage and edited content.
7. Work efficiently under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs.
9. Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance video quality.
10. Ensure that video content meets the necessary technical specifications and is optimized for various platforms and devices.
11. Stay updated with industry trends and editing technologies to continuously improve video quality and techniques.

• Requirements Details:

1. 1-3 years of experience required.
2. Creative thinking and storytelling skills with an eye for detail.
3. Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
4. Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the production team.
6. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
7. A bachelor’s degree in any stream, film studies, media, or a related field is preferred.
