Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Location: Kent, WA Job ID: #73175 Pay Range: $40-48 an hour 6+ month contract Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer I for our Kent, WA location. This facility designs and manufactures a broad range of complex structural composites and assemblies supplying some of the world’s top aerospace and defense contractors. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for several product lines working within the quality management system. Additionally, the QE must ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of processes and quality controls with an emphasis to details and maintaining the utmost personal integrity, positive, and professional image. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Know and apply applicable customer specifications, procedural requirements, and internal quality procedural requirements to assure compliance to required systems and procedures. Conduct internal and external audits as required. Create and maintain quality documentation and corrective action plans when required by customer or internal system. Review and process discrepancy tags when MRB action is required. Review, analyze, and approve production planning with respect to the quality, first article and inspection requirements, model base definition (MBD) and GD
