Job Description

About the Role

Culture is built through everyday interactions, meaningful relationships and shared experiences-not just policies or programs.

We are looking for an exceptionally polished, sophisticated and people-centric professional to lead our Employee Experience and Culture agenda. This is a highly visible role for someone who naturally builds relationships, understands people, reads organizational dynamics, and becomes the trusted pulse of the company.

You will spend significant time across our office engaging with employees-not from behind a desk, but by being present on the floor, over coffee, during lunch, in collaborative spaces, and through authentic day-to-day interactions. Employees should see you as someone they genuinely enjoy talking to-not because you're in HR, but because you're approachable, trustworthy and invested in their experience.

You will serve as the bridge between employees, managers and leadership, helping create a workplace where people feel connected, heard and inspired while providing leadership with meaningful insights into organizational culture and employee sentiment.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Experience

  • Own and continuously enhance the employee experience across every stage of the employee lifecycle.
  • Design thoughtful and memorable workplace experiences that strengthen engagement, belonging and connection.
  • Ensure employees have a consistent, high-quality workplace experience across all touchpoints.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the employee journey.

Culture & Community

  • Champion and strengthen the organization's culture through authentic employee engagement.
  • Build communities that encourage collaboration, networking and inclusion.
  • Design and execute employee experiences including cultural celebrations, office festivals, leadership interactions, social gatherings, wellness initiatives, family events, recognition programs and community-building activities.
  • Introduce new traditions and rituals that strengthen organizational identity.

Organizational Pulse

  • Spend significant time interacting with employees across teams through informal conversations and visible floor presence.
  • Become a trusted confidant and approachable presence for employees across all levels.
  • Build authentic relationships that encourage open and honest conversations.
  • Understand employee sentiment beyond surveys by actively listening and observing.
  • Identify emerging concerns, morale shifts, retention risks and opportunities before they escalate.
  • Share actionable insights and recommendations with HR Leadership to strengthen employee experience and organizational culture.

Leadership Partnership

  • Partner closely with business leaders and HR teams to build a strong employee-centric culture.
  • Act as an advisor by providing qualitative insights into employee sentiment and workplace dynamics.
  • Support managers in strengthening team engagement and employee experience.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Learning & Development and Internal Communications teams.

Employee Advocacy

  • Build an environment where employees naturally feel comfortable approaching you.
  • Promote inclusion, belonging and employee wellbeing.
  • Handle sensitive employee matters with empathy, discretion and sound judgment.
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality.

Experience Design

  • Create meaningful employee experiences rather than simply organizing events.
  • Bring creativity and innovation into workplace engagement.
  • Continuously benchmark leading employee experience practices and introduce fresh ideas to strengthen workplace culture.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 10–15 years of experience in Employee Experience, Culture, Employee Engagement, Employer Branding, Community Building, Internal Communications, Hospitality, Consulting or Human Resources.
  • Experience in high-growth technology companies, consumer businesses, consulting firms, hospitality or premium service organizations is preferred.
  • Experience building communities and influencing culture without formal authority.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Exceptionally polished with strong executive presence.
  • Warm, approachable and naturally personable.
  • Highly sophisticated with impeccable interpersonal skills.
  • An outstanding conversationalist who enjoys engaging with people.
  • Emotionally intelligent with exceptional listening skills.
  • Naturally curious and genuinely interested in understanding people.
  • Comfortable interacting with employees across every level—from interns to leadership.
  • Visible, approachable and highly trusted within the organization.
  • Observant and capable of reading organizational dynamics and informal networks.
  • Diplomatic, discreet and balanced in handling sensitive situations.
  • Creative, energetic and passionate about building communities.
  • Equally comfortable hosting a leadership roundtable, facilitating a cultural celebration, or simply sharing a coffee with employees to understand how they're doing.

Success in this Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Become one of the most recognized and trusted individuals in the organization.
  • Build meaningful relationships across functions and levels.
  • Create an environment where employees naturally seek them out for conversations and support.
  • Strengthen organizational culture through everyday interactions and thoughtfully designed experiences.
  • Provide leadership with authentic, real-time insights into employee sentiment and organizational health.
  • Build a workplace where people feel connected, valued and proud to belong.

What Makes This Role Different

This is not a traditional Employee Engagement role, nor is it focused solely on organizing events.

It is about becoming the human face of the organization- someone who is constantly present, approachable and connected. You'll be the person employees stop to chat with over coffee, the one who notices subtle shifts in morale before they appear in surveys, and the trusted partner who helps leadership understand the true pulse of the organization.

If you're passionate about people, thrive on building authentic relationships, and believe that great cultures are created one conversation at a time, we'd love to hear from you.
