Commercial & Corporate Lawyer (Energy Sector) PQE:5-10 Years

Duration: Contract Opportunities Available We are working with a leading organisation within the energy sector seeking an experienced Commercial & Corporate Lawyer to join its legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer looking to work on complex and high-profile matters supporting a dynamic and evolving business. The Role You will provide strategic legal advice across a broad range of commercial and corporate matters, partnering closely with senior stakeholders and business teams. Key responsibilities include: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements. Advising on corporate transactions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic projects. Supporting energy-related projects, infrastructure developments, and commercial initiatives. Experience advising on energy, infrastructure, engineering, and construction projects, including the negotiation of construction and project-related agreements, would be highly advantageous. Providing legal guidance on regulatory and compliance matters relevant to the sector. Managing external counsel where required. Working closely with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks while supporting commercial objectives. About You Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent jurisdiction). Approximately 5-10' PQE with strong commercial and corporate law experience. Experience gained in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both. Exposure to the energy, utilities, infrastructure, natural resources, or related sectors would be advantageous. Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
