Staff Pharmacist - Community Pharmacy

Locations: Multiple locations in and around the Pittsburgh, PA area

Pay: $71.50–74.50/hour

Schedule: 3–4 shifts per week, 10–12 hours per shift. Rotational day and evening shifts & every other weekend

Overtime: Unlimited OT - no cap on hours!

We are hiring Staff Pharmacists for multiple pharmacy locations throughout the Pittsburgh area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced pharmacist looking for competitive hourly pay, flexible scheduling, and significant overtime earning potential.

Available Locations: Ross Township, Carnegie, Zelienople, Penn Hills, Cranberry Township, Beaver Falls, Canonsburg, McMurray, Glenshaw, Uniontown, Rochester, and Greensburg

What You’ll Do:

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and support pharmacy technicians by providing daily oversight, workflow direction, and ongoing training and development.
• Dispensing & Operations: Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, including accurate medication dispensing, safety protocols, regulatory compliance, inventory coordination, and overall workflow.
• Pharmacy Support: Assist with back-end dispensing and other pharmacy responsibilities to ensure patients receive timely and accurate care.
• Patient Consultation & Care: Provide accessible, empathetic consultation to patients regarding medication management, administration, potential side effects, and cost-effective treatment options.
• Clinical Services & Immunizations: Support clinical programs, including patient health screenings and targeted immunization efforts.
• Physician Collaboration: Conduct outbound communication with physicians to clarify prescriptions, coordinate care plans, optimize drug therapy, and help resolve medication access barriers.

Schedule & Overtime:

• Work 3–4 shifts per week , typically consisting of 10–12 hour shifts
• Schedules may include a combination of day and evening shifts
• Schedules are typically built approximately 3 weeks in advance
• Expect to work every other weekend
• Unlimited overtime available with no cap on OT hours
• Strong earning potential for pharmacists interested in working additional hours

Training & Support:

• Comprehensive onboarding and training will be provided
• A typical training process lasts approximately 3 weeks , with the ability to extend training as needed for additional support
• Work alongside experienced mentors and pharmacy managers

What You’ll Need:

• Active Pharmacist license
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day/evening shifts and every other weekend
• Strong patient communication and clinical skills
• Ability to lead and support pharmacy technicians
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
