DutiesManage complex estate planning, administration, and controversy matters for high-net-worth individuals and families.Draft legal documents and provide counsel on estate and gift tax laws.Assume increasing responsibility for client matters and case management.
RequirementsActive New York bar admission is required.Minimum of one year of professional experience in trusts and estates.Ability to work in the office three days per week.
EducationLLM in Taxation or Estate Planning is preferred.
CertificationsMust hold a valid license to practice law in New York.
SkillsStrong background in estate planning, administration, and drafting.Knowledge of estate and gift tax laws appropriate for class year.Extremely detail-oriented with a personable demeanor.
BenefitsCompetitive salary range of $205,000 to $225,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
