Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or higher (with a strong focus/project in AI & Machine Learning)

Role Summary:

We are seeking an innovative, tech-savvy Artificial Intelligence Officer to lead SSIL’s transition into an AI-driven enterprise. You will be responsible for building customized AI applications to automate and optimize workflows across all core business units, upgrade our IT infrastructure, ensuring robust cybersecurity. A strong analysis of data, cyber security and use of AI to fully automate enterprise workflow. Hands on experience in software development (application development) that uses machine learning, natural language processing, and data to perform tasks like problem-solving, prediction, and automation.

Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in SQL framework, Application Development & Artificial Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Integration & Enterprise Readiness

• Drive the digital transformation strategy to make SSIL fully AI-ready across all functional areas.

• Identify automation and machine learning opportunities across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, E-commerce, and Manufacturing.

• If needed, create a team of 2-3 persons to develop softwares / Apps or interfaces which can automate lot of work in various departments of the company.

• Train internal teams on AI adoption, tools, and best practices to foster a tech-forward culture.

Software & Application Development

• Design, develop, and deploy custom AI-based applications, scripts, or interfaces to solve departmental challenges.

• Build predictive analytics models for demand forecasting in Supply Chain and Sales.

• Integrate intelligent automation into Accounting, Finance, Key Account Management, and E-commerce platforms.

IT Infrastructure & Security

• Audit, upgrade, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure to support high-performance AI tools and data processing.

• Implement robust cybersecurity protocols and access controls to safeguard proprietary business and operational data.

• Ensure data integrity and secure API integrations between modern AI solutions and legacy ERP/production systems.

Key Qualifications, Skills & Salary:

Education: Bachelor’s or Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.

Academic: Proven portfolio of academic projects, research, or practical applications centred on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.

• Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, OpenAI APIs).

• Fundamentals of database management (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Solid understanding of network security, IT infrastructure, and data protection standard protocols.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving mindset and cross-departmental communication skills.

• Capability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions.

Salary: Better than industry average.
