Ticket Clerk - Part-TimeWood Resources is a provider of marine towing, ship mooring, dredging, as well as construction and landscaping materials.Position Summary:Ticket clerks work shore side and are responsible for documenting materials (sand and aggregate) entering and leaving the site. Ticket clerks may be assigned to Harahan, Algiers, Waggaman, and Hahnville sites.This is a Part-Time position working a flexible schedule an average of 26 hours per week including every other Saturday (6 hour AM shift).Job Responsibilities:Greet and check-in all customers arriving to the materials siteProvide loading and unloading instructions to customers entering the site; communicate any hazardsCommunicate with loaders/operators via radio to ensure proper load quantitiesVerify count, weights, measurements, marks, and dimensions of materialsCreate tickets using JWS ticketingHandle and record cash, credit, and check payment transactionsOrganize and total tickets, charges, credits, etc. at the end of every shiftReport ALL incidents to Operations ManagerPerform other duties as requested or requiredJob Requirements:Adhere to company attendance policyStrong organizational skillsBasic math skillsProficient using office equipment and technologyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentReading and writing skills sufficient to comprehend/complete a variety of documentsAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamMust have reliable transportation to designated Wood Resources locationsMust be at least eighteen (18) years of ageCurrent Transportation Work Identification Credential (TWIC) preferred.Physical Requirements:Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen, breath alcohol and physicalAbility to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.Prolonged periods of sittingWillingness to work in all weather conditionsModerate -High noise levelsWood Resources, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
