This role ensures reliable and efficient planning, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics to meet customer demand while complying with GMP and regulatory requirements. </p><p>The position operates in a multi-product, multi-client environment, requiring strong coordination across functions and high responsiveness to customer needs. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong> </p><p><strong>1. Production Planning </strong> </p><ul><li><p>Develop and manage production plans aligned with customer demand, contracts, and capacity constraints </p> </li><li><p>Coordinate with Manufacturing, QA, QC, and Engineering to ensure feasible and compliant schedules </p> </li><li><p>Optimize plant utilization while balancing lead times, batch sizes, and campaign strategies </p> </li><li><p>Manage S&OP process at plant level </p> </li> </ul><p><strong>2. Customer Supply Management on commercial products and generics </strong> </p><ul><li><p>Act as the main point of contact for customer order fulfillment and supply commitments </p> </li><li><p>Ensure high OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance </p> </li><li><p>Manage order prioritization, lead times, and delivery commitments </p> </li><li><p>Communicate proactively on risks, delays, and recovery plans </p> </li> </ul><p><strong>3. Purchasing </strong> </p><ul><li><p>Oversee purchasing of raw materials, solvents, and packaging materials through ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance </p> </li><li><p>Ensure continuity of supply for critical GMP materials </p> </li><li><p>Maintain supplier master data and drive system-based performance tracking </p> </li><li><p>Collaborate with global/category procurement teams </p> </li> </ul><p><strong>4. Inventory Management </strong> </p><ul><li><p>Monitor and control inventory using ERP tools, ensuring real-time accuracy and traceability </p> </li><li><p>Optimize stock levels across raw materials, WIP, intermediates, and finished APIs </p> </li><li><p>Monitor shelf life, batch status, and obsolete stock </p> </li><li><p>Optimize working capital and inventory turns </p> </li> </ul><p><strong>5. Logistics & Distribution </strong> </p><ul><li><p>Oversee inbound/outbound logistics executed and tracked via ERP systems </p> </li><li><p>Ensure compliance with GDP, customs, and international shipping regulations </p> </li><li><p>Manage transport planning, import/export documentation, and delivery execution </p> </li> </ul><p><strong>6. ERP & Data Management </strong> </p><ul><li><p>Ensure effective use of ERP systems for planning, purchasing, inventory, and order management </p> </li><li><p>Maintain high-quality master data </p> </li><li><p>Ensure data accuracy and traceability across all supply chain processes </p> </li><li><p>Support system improvements and digitalization initiatives </p> </li> </ul><p><strong>6. Cross-Functional Coordination </strong> </p><p>Collaborate closely with: </p><ul><li><p>Production / Operations </p> </li><li><p>Quality Assurance & Quality Control </p> </li><li><p>Regulatory Affairs </p> </li><li><p>Project Management (for new products / tech transfers) </p> </li> </ul><p><strong>7. Compliance & Risk Management </strong> </p><ul><li><p>Ensure supply chain activities comply with GMP, EHS, and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA) </p> </li><li><p>Maintain audit readiness (internal, customer, regulatory inspections) </p> </li><li><p>Identify and mitigate risks (e.g., supply shortages, capacity constraints, deviations) </p> </li> </ul><p><strong>8. Continuous Improvement </strong> </p><p>Drive initiatives to improve: </p><ul><li><p>Planning accuracy </p> </li><li><p>Service levels </p> </li><li><p>Inventory optimization </p> </li><li><p>Cost efficiency </p> </li> </ul><p><strong>9.
