Estimator / Senior Estimator

About the Opportunity

Our client is a nationally recognized General Contractor with a strong presence throughout Florida, delivering award-winning projects across the multifamily, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, education, and commercial sectors . Due to continued growth in Palm Beach County, they are looking to add both an Estimator and Senior Estimator to their preconstruction team.

These positions offer the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile projects while collaborating with experienced construction professionals in a team-oriented environment focused on innovation, quality, and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and GMP estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed cost analyses.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Identify scope gaps, overlaps, and project risks.
• Develop value engineering recommendations and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and internal operations teams.
• Maintain historical cost databases and current market pricing.
• Support project pursuits from early design through project award.
• Senior-level candidates will lead estimating efforts, mentor team members, and assist with strategic preconstruction initiatives.

Qualifications

Estimator

• 3+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor.
• Experience on multifamily, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, education, or senior living projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and CSI divisions.

Senior Estimator

• 5+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor.
• Experience leading estimates for large-scale multifamily, healthcare, hospitality, commercial, education, or senior living projects.
• Proven ability to develop budgets, GMPs, and manage complex pursuits.

For Both Roles

• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Excel, BuildingConnected, OST, or similar estimating software .
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
