Project Manager - Interior Design Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple interior design projects from design development through installation. This role requires strong project coordination, client communication, and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities Project Management Manage multiple residential and/or commercial interior design projects from concept through final installation. Create and maintain project schedules, tracking design, procurement, construction, and installation milestones. Act as the primary contact for clients, contractors, vendors, and consultants. Lead project meetings and site visits, documenting decisions and follow-up actions. Identify and resolve scheduling, budget, and project scope challenges proactively. FF&E Coordination Coordinate procurement, delivery scheduling, and installation logistics for furniture, fixtures, equipment, and materials. Oversee deliveries, inspect received items, document issues if any, and ensure proper placement during installation. Design Documentation Work closely with the design team to maintain accurate project specifications and selections. Review construction drawings and documents to ensure alignment with project requirements. Maintain organized project records, including contracts, specifications, approvals, and correspondence. Prepare client presentations, progress reports, and budget updates. Budget Management Track project budgets and expenses throughout the project lifecycle. Identify potential cost variances early and recommend appropriate solutions. Requirements Required 5+ years of project management experience in an interior design or architecture environment. Demonstrated experience managing residential and/or commercial design projects from planning through installation. Strong understanding of FF&E procurement, construction coordination, and installation processes. Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with vendor coordination, trade suppliers, custom fabricators, and contractors. Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and project management tools. Preferred Experience with Studio Designer or similar project management/accounting software. Working knowledge of AutoCAD. Experience using project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, or ClickUp. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
