Accounts Payable Coordinator

Location: Chicago, IL Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days/week in office Duration: 5+ months, with potential for extension Type: Temporary/Contract
What You’ll Do:Review and process invoices for accuracy, proper accounting treatment, and required approvalsConduct daily audits of expense reports and receipts to ensure compliance with company policiesMonitor monthly reports, including pending approvals, duplicate transactions, and unsubmitted expensesHandle rush payment requests and help resolve past-due invoicesReview general ledger accounts, project codes, billing cost codes, and bank assignmentsProcess voucher reclassifications and maintain accurate AP documentationObtain required vendor documentation and approvals from internal stakeholdersAssist with process improvement initiatives and new system implementation projectsProvide additional support to the AP team as needed
What We’re Looking For:1–5 years of accounts payable experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environmentBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred xzbcwsv Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailAbility to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProactive, results-oriented approach with a willingness to take initiativeStrong communication and customer service skillsMicrosoft Excel skills
