Technical Representative – Mining Equipment

Are you a Mechanical Fitter, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Drill Fitter or Field Service Technician looking for a role that combines technical problem-solving, customer interaction and international travel?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in mining equipment and technology , supporting customers across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

Based in Adelaide, you’ll become a technical specialist supporting drilling equipment, troubleshooting complex issues, training customers and employees, testing new products and helping optimise equipment performance.

The role

• Provide technical support to customers both remotely and on-site
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues
• Support and train customers in the operation of drilling equipment
• Conduct product testing and provide feedback on product development
• Work closely with workshop and engineering teams
• Provide technical advice to improve equipment performance
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve products and customer outcomes
• Travel approximately 50% of the year across Australia and Asia Pacific

About you

We’re looking for a hands-on technical professional with:

• Mechanical Trade qualification
• 3-5+ years’ relevant mechanical experience
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical knowledge
• Experience with mining or heavy mobile equipment
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel extensively, including internationally and at short notice
• Good Microsoft Office skills

Mining equipment or OEM experience will be highly regarded.
