This is an excellent opportunity for a 5+ year New York litigator with strong experience handling complex commercial disputes. Experience involving real estate litigation, construction litigation or disputes involving real estate and development is particularly valuable.

Attorneys will have substantial involvement throughout the litigation lifecycle, from case assessment and discovery through motions, depositions, hearings, settlement and trial.
ResponsibilitiesManage complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolutionDraft and argue motions and substantive briefsTake and defend depositionsManage discovery, including document review, production and e-discoveryConduct legal research and develop litigation strategyPrepare witnesses for depositions, hearings, arbitrations and trialsParticipate in hearings, trials and evidentiary proceedingsHandle settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolutionCommunicate directly with clients and opposing counselWork independently while collaborating closely with partners and other attorneysManage multiple matters and competing deadlines
Must Have5+ years of complex commercial litigation experienceStrong experience with complex civil and commercial disputesExperience drafting and arguing motionsSignificant deposition experienceStrong discovery and e-discovery experienceWitness preparation experienceStrong legal research, writing and analytical skillsStrong knowledge of New York civil procedureAbility to independently manage litigation mattersStrong client-facing and communication skills
