Role Description
The VFX Compositor at PROMICE STUDIOS will work full time on-site in Kochi, collaborating closely with directors, editors, and animators to create high-quality visual effects for film, animation, and digital media projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing visual effects shots, integrating CGI elements with live-action footage, and refining lighting, compositing, and animation to achieve the desired look. The role involves working with production teams to interpret storyboards and scripts, optimising workflows, and ensuring all visual elements meet technical and artistic standards. The VFX Compositor will also participate in review sessions, respond to creative feedback, and contribute ideas to enhance storytelling and overall production quality.
Salary
₹20,000 – ₹50,000 per month
Qualifications
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects for compositing and integrating CGI with live-action footage. Strong skills in Lighting and Compositing to achieve realistic or stylised visuals. Relevant experience as a VFX Compositor in film, TV, or digital media; portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work. Understanding of post-production pipelines, colour grading basics, and file formats for digital film production. Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, take constructive feedback, and meet project deadlines. Diploma or degree in Animation, VFX, Game Design, Film, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.Details
