Job Description
Hiring: Actuarial Lead Essential Functions • Managing the Overall ALM Process( ALM, AMG and Liability modelling, along with US valuation) • Reviewing and validate results – for asset modelling, ALM work, reserving, capital adequacy checking • Support the determination of company-wide investment assumptions • Review of EV, LRT, US GAAP, Economic Capital, RBC related results • Managing implementation of emerging standards, such as GAAP LDTI • Managing team - training, rotations and professional development • Managing stakeholders • Taking initiative to get the team involved in new areas of work • Ensuring quality of outputs from the team Basic Function • Managing and providing leadership to the ALM/AMG/US valuation teams • Rationalizing the ALM – US valuation team to increase efficiency by streamlining work • Communication with stakeholders; integration with onshore team • Training and upskilling of team members • Review of results • Keeping abreast of research and developments in the area, including developments in software, new standards and so on • Commenting on and suggesting alternative methodologies; providing thought leadership • Understanding of data sources, software, other platforms used –such as, Prophet ALS, Moses, Bloomberg

Education: Graduate in finance or quantitative field Advanced degree in quantitative field or an MBA is desirable. CFA, CERA, FRM, ASA and/or FSA/FIA qualifications are preferred
Experience: At least XX years of experience in financial services industry preferably including experience within Asset Liability Management function Proven capability of demonstrating critical analysis and apply judgment to assist in interpreting complex topics. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change in a dynamic environment and build collaborative relationships. Ability to challenge existing ways of working and provide innovative solutions.
