Industrial Goods and Services Sales Manager
JAASN Consultants Pvt Ltd · India
Job Description
Business Development Manager
U.S. Industrial Consulting & AI Solutions | India-based, remote
Employer
JAASN Consultants (India)
Market-facing company
SCNJTek LLC (California, USA)
Market focus
United States manufacturing and engineering
Work schedule
Full-time; regular evening/night overlap with U.S. Eastern and Central business hours
The mandateBuild qualified U.S. industrial opportunities—not just contact lists. You will identify the right manufacturing and engineering accounts, reach senior decision-makers through phone, email and LinkedIn, run first-level qualification, and create opportunities that advance to discovery, proposals, paid diagnostics/pilots and revenue.
What we take to market· Industrial performance consulting — diagnose, prioritize, design, validate and improve throughput, engineering productivity and capital-project execution.
· ThroughputOps — identify bottlenecks, capacity losses, downtime, instability and yield loss using operational data.
· DesignOps — improve engineering productivity, design rules, standardization, reviews, manufacturability and approval workflows.
· ProjectOps — improve schedule, procurement, budget, approvals and risk control for capital projects.
· Engineering and manufacturing support — India-based industrial expertise and execution support for qualified U.S. requirements.
Your ideal buyersMid-market and enterprise manufacturers, industrial equipment companies, engineering-led businesses and capital-project organizations—typically asset-intensive and facing measurable capacity, delivery, design or execution constraints.
Typical stakeholders: COO, VP/Director of Operations, Plant Manager, VP/Director of Engineering, Operational Excellence Leader, Project Director and owner/CEO of a mid-sized industrial company.
What you will own1. Account and buyer selection
· Build focused account lists by industry, plant or business unit—not broad databases.
· Research operational triggers such as capacity constraints, backlogs, expansion, new equipment, engineering delays, project slippage or performance-improvement initiatives.
· Map the economic buyer, problem owner, technical influencers and likely internal sponsor.
2. Multi-channel outbound development· Create account-specific call, email and LinkedIn sequences with a clear operational hypothesis.
· Use telephone prospecting as a core channel; persist professionally across multiple touches.
· Secure discovery meetings with people who own a relevant problem—not informational or networking calls.
3. Qualification and opportunity creation· Confirm the business problem, measurable impact, urgency, access to data, stakeholder ownership, buying process and realistic next step.
· Lead initial business conversations and bring SCNJTek leadership or specialists into technical discovery at the right time.
· Convert qualified interest into an agreed next action: diagnostic discussion, data review, proposal, paid pilot or consulting engagement.
4. Pipeline discipline· Maintain accurate CRM records, next steps, qualification notes and follow-up dates.
· Review pipeline weekly with the founder; surface stalled deals and disqualify weak opportunities quickly.
· Feed market objections and buyer language back into the offer and messaging.
What counts as qualifiedA meeting counts only when it includes a relevant U.S. decision-maker or strong influencer, a plausible SCNJTek/JAASN problem, evidence of business impact or urgency, and an agreed next step. Vendor meetings, generic networking calls, job-seeker conversations and unverified leads do not count.

· Willingness to work a consistent India evening/night schedule aligned with U.S. buyers.

· Experience using a CRM and tools for account research, contact validation, email sequencing and call management.
· Exposure to founder-led or early-stage businesses where the offer and message are refined through market feedback.
This role is not a fit if· Your experience is primarily digital marketing, social media, paid advertising, database building or LinkedIn connection generation.
· You depend on inbound leads and are not comfortable initiating telephone conversations.
· You measure success by activity alone and cannot show qualified pipeline or commercial progression.
· You want a standard India daytime schedule with little live overlap with U.S. prospects.

3. Days 61–90 — Create a visible qualified pipeline; progress credible opportunities toward diagnostic discussions, proposals or pilots; present a data-backed plan for the next quarter.
How success will be assessedCommercial quality comes first. Performance will consider qualified meetings, opportunities created, stage progression, pipeline value and revenue influence—along with CRM accuracy, conversion rates and learning from the market.
